An old fur coat restyled and modernized
The client had a fur coat in her wardrobe that had belonged to her great-grandmother. Her great-grandmother and grandmother worked in the fur trade, which is why the fur had been kept at the correct temperature, with proper lighting, and in a suitable garment bag.
The client wanted to shorten the coat, remove the pockets, and add an extra zipper. The coat also needed alterations at the chest, hips, and shoulders.
A photo taken with a regular camera, without proper lighting, doesn’t do justice to the beauty of our work, but the client was very happy and felt very comfortable in her new half-coat.
