Alteration of a puff-sleeved blazer
My client owns a natural silk blazer that fits her very well. However, the sleeve puffs are quite voluminous, and this style is no longer fashionable, which my client fully understands. That’s why she asked me to reduce the volume at the sleeve heads.
We carried out this work through fittings. We gradually reduced the number of pleats at the top of the sleeves until we arrived at a version where there are absolutely no pleats, and only the sleeve head was to be adjusted.
