This new year, I’ve decided to tailor a new two-piece snowsuit for myself. I wanted to make it as light as possible. So I filled the jacket with down and the pants with synthetic winterizer.
The jacket is made of waterproof and water-repellent fabric. To contain the down, I took the smoothest, lightest and densest fabric I could find. The sleeves have cuffs with a hole for the big finger, which makes wearing the gloves more comfortable. I’ve also added pom-poms for aesthetic reasons.
Women’s pants often lack pockets. This can’t be said about my new snowsuit, as I’ve added several. The pants have a secondary layer with elastic band at the feet. This makes the suit even warmer and prevents snow from getting into the boots.
